# COM, NET, ORG, INFO etc domain name ownership change

**Attention!** According to ICANN rules **changing** any of the **following domain contact information** is considered an **ownership change**:

- **contact person name**
- **registrant’s name**
- **company’s name**
- **email address**

You can change the contact information in [**My Zone**](https://my.zone.lv/dashboard/en/home) via [**Domain management**](https://my.zone.lv/dashboard/en/domain/home). Choose the preferred domain and click on the **pencil icon** under “Domain contacts”.

Once you’ve changed the information, verification emails are sent to the current and new owner’s contact email address. **Both parties must verify the change via the verification link!**

 **NB!** The verification link will be valid for **5 days**! If the change is not verified, the previous ownership will remain and change will be cancelled.

If you do not tick the “I do not wish to transfer lock my domain for 60 days” box during the ownership change process, the domain will be locked (Transfer lock) for 60 days and cannot be transferred.
